About the Program:
Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan
The Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan was finalized in March 1996 and signed by the governors of New York and New Jersey the fall of 1997. This plan outlines a comprehensive strategy to achieve HEP’s goal of establishing and maintaining a healthy and productive ecosystem with full beneficial uses.

Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan Tracking Report
The HEP office prepared this document to keep track of progress in implementing the CCMP. Each chapter lists all CCMP actions for a different topic. Under each CCMP action are listed activities (completed, ongoing or planned)—carried out by numerous HEP partners—that advance implementation of that action.
